Amuse-Bouche
- Holly Madison's “broken rib?” Is that what the PR flunkies are calling a busted boob bag these days?
- RiRi! RiRi! Where she yed? – Dissa gyal need fe satta down an’ reason…If you don't speak Trini/Guyanese/Bajan/Jamaican or anything else BWI (that’s British West Indies), what I said was: “Where is this chick’s head? She needs to seriously check herself.” These tattoos just shock the bejeezus out of me in light of recent domestic violence events. All I see in this ink is a horrible sense of foreshadowing. I seriously hope I'm wrong. Here's a link to the article and more pictures from the UK Daily Mail.
On Rihanna's heavy artillery - I read somewhere that the ones near the armpits were just drawings, and the only actual tattoo is the one on the side. It's still disturbing, though. What's wrong with pretty flowers and butterflies?
ReplyDeleteI don't have any tattoos, so I'm not fronting but I know that sometimes there's just stuff a person wants to put on their canvas. In my mind though, and apparently other people's, guns aren't one of them. I know a lot of tattooed people. I've seen a lot of them (tattoos, people too...) and there's not one gun. Lighters? Check. Jesus on the cross? Check. Praying hands? "Mi Vida Loca/Loco?" Check. Artillery? Nada.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right, Baho. I too have seen a lot of tattoos, although I don't have any myself (my ideas change so often, I'd hate to put any of them on my skin permanently), and have never seen a gun. Knives, yes, but not guns.
ReplyDeleteRhianna wears a pistol pendant all the time. For whatever reason, she's got a thing for handguns. And tattoos are a personal decision, right or wrong in someone else's eyes, they're self expression. And yes, I've seen guns alot in ink.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny you said "What's wrong with pretty flowers and butterflies?" Syko, lol... one of my favorite lil signs I have says "Yes, I have tattoos, and no, I don't want to see your stupid butterfly." LOL I have a flower, on my hand, it's a sunflower, and it's the only tattoo I have that I'm getting a cover up done on!
Diva - my son had a cute little oriental mask on one bicep, and he had it covered up... with a sunflower. LOL
ReplyDeleteOf course he thinks it's a black sun of death or something equally scary and male, but it looks like a sunflower to me.
A black sun of death? LMFAO. Syko, you never disappoint. And (insert preferred deity here) bless you you for it.
ReplyDeleteActually, maybe I could add a BSOD to my already extensive collection of quality tattoos: One quarter-sized yin yang on my hip that looks like it was done in jail.
